"I Spy With My Queer Kinky Eye" Photo Contest!

We are accepting submissions of kinky+queer digital photographs to be used to help promote our brand-new kink weekend, Queer PlayCon 2011, happening May 20-22 in Hartford, Connecticut.

Showcase your photography skills by sharing your take on what queer kink looks like to you! We're hoping for creative, steamy, inspiring images!

The first-prize winner will receive one free, transferable registration to our event, which includes admission to two play parties, a weekend of classes with national presenters, fun mini-events, and more!

All finalists will receive:

• A Queer PlayCon T-shirt


• A link, if desired, from our site to your artistic site, FetLife profile, or Web blog.

Guidelines:

• Entering the contest is free and anyone 21+ can enter. Send submissions by e-mail to queerplaycon@gmail.com. Each entry must be high resolution and in jpg format. After you send your entry, we will send you a short contest application which you will need to fill out to complete your entry.


• You may enter as many photos as you want, but please send each submission as a separate e-mail. If you are submitting multiple photos, you only need to fill out one application.


• Finalists will be chosen by the Queer PlayCon producers and posted on our site during the voted period. Finalists can choose to use a real name or a scene name for contest publicity. We'll respect your anonymity, or if you want we'll put your name out there!


• By submitting, you are granting Queer PlayCon permission to post your photo/s and use your photo/s to promote our event.


• Entrants must own all legal rights to the photographs; any models need to be 21+ and model releases must be on file. If you become a finalist, you will be asked to supply a 2257 model release, including a photocopy of all models' driver's licenses. A copy of the 2257 form can be found here: 2257 form. Upon notification, finalists will be given 48 hours to fax this information. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate finalist.


• Anyone who owns the rights to a photo can enter it in the contest--including models, riggers and others artistically involved in making it. We do ask that you give us contact info (e-mail or phone) for the photographer. If you become a finalist, we will contact the photographer and ask how he or she would like to be credited for the photo.


• Deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2011.


• The winner will be chosen by a vote using a survey link, which will be distributed widely as soon as the finalists are chosen. It's okay to ask your friends, play partners, crush objects, or other people to vote for your submission. But on your honor, please, one vote per person only. Duplicate votes will be disqualified.


• As soon as voting ends, we'll announce the results on FetLife, on our Web site, and to our e-mail list.


• Queer PlayCon producers retain full authority in administering the contest, including but not limited to, disqualifying any entrants or voters who do not abide by the contest terms outlined above.
